Not in a 22 year old: Cancer may be a sign in an older person. There are many causes of anorexia and it would require taking history and physical examination to arrive at a diagnosis.

Several: Numerous causes for loss of appetite several diseases , several medications from cold to cancer , some one 22 yr old  with no other symptoms , only thing that causes is  anxiety and  depression, most common in young.You are only 22  don't think of cancers , enjoy your life.

i have had a sore neck, dizziness and poor appetite/sickness feeling for past 4 days. i recently took a long hall flight. could this be a cause?

Sick: certainly you could have gotten a viral infection while traveling.  make sure you are drinking adequate fluids.
If no better in another day or two, I would see your primary care physician or go to an urgent care facility.
I don't think at this time you need to go to the emergency department,  unless the symptoms get worse or you develop other symptoms.

Very close to zero: Without a family history of polyps or early cancer chance is as close to zero as you can get. But are you loosing weight or having diarrhea? That would need to be checked out.

Streptococcus: The symptoms you present arre very suggestive of a streptococcal infection, probably tonsillar (which frequently may be felt in the ear (or radiate to the ear) by virtue of the location of tonsils.  It is common in young children and can cause the symptoms you report.
A good culture ( no rapid strep test: my experience has been poor in the past using such simple testing) appropriate antibiotic

Directed lab work, imaging, biopsies, stool studies will find your answer ; direct treatment. Chance of pregnancy?

How old is kid: The appetite parameters and sleep habits of kids vary with age and stage of growth. The rapid growth rate of the first yr slows to 1/3 as fast by 2 , picking up again by puberty. Appetite reflects growth rate & state of health. Sleep habits follow a variety of influences, mostly anxiety-separation issues in toddlers.Clearly stating a kids age/stage will permit for focused answers.

It happens: Heat induced symptoms from simple sweating to true heat stroke are possible in kids or adults. Headache &amp; dizziness are often part of this range of problems. Moving the kid to a cool environment, providing fluids and cool compresses can usually stop the progression of symptoms. Progression to a 40c core temperature, fainting &amp; seizures are all possible with heat induced illness.
