Autonomic inervation: The bowels are under the control of the autonomic nervous system.It induces rhythmic waves in the muscular lining in the intestines.This is how food is moved forward.

Bowel function: The only thing that can move in your belly (other than a fetus) is your intestines as they move nutrients through your bowel.  Movement in the intestines is normal.  If it's more than usual, painful, or associated with other symptoms, see your doctor.

How long?: A viral illness and/or food poisoning  are probably the most common causes of those symptoms but that usually moves thru your system in a few days.  If this has been going on longer than that you should see an md for a work up.  There are inflammatory colitises, food intolerances, parasitic diseases and other diseases that may cause the same symptoms but over a prolonged period.

Fluttering: This could simply be the movement of gas and fluids in your GI system.

Light stools: I always rule out hepatitis when I hear patients say light stools with stomach pains.  Is your urine dark or skin looking yellow?  Please go see a provider and possible blood and stool testing

NO: Most ovarian cysts generally do not cause any of these symptoms, nor pain.

Irritable bowel synd: Crying bowels .  Stress can cause your bowels to contract and spasms.  Take a fiber con with a glass of water daily to help ease the problem

SPASM: Intestinal spasm  --ibs is most common cause at your age. I assume no bleeding.

Increase fiber, probiotic over the counter, lo fat, lo caffeine diet

if no improvement in 1 week may need exam and  anti spasm meds--would need to see primary md or gastroenterologist.

what can cause lower stomach pain in a 6y/o and it hurts more with movement and touching  she has no fever  should i be conserned and what do i do?

Yes, be concerned: Pain in the abdomen that hurts more with touching and movement can be a concerning sign. She could have a urinary tract infection, or a problem with her bowel. If the pain is significant, i would not wait until morning and take her in tonight to a local er for evaluation. I mild pain and no vomiting, could watch closely and bring her in first thing in the morning to doctor.
