what could cause tongue muscle fatigue when chewing? my tongue feels tired and cramps some when chewing. i dont have pain any other times other than eating. no sores or lumps. can swallow normal. potential for bulbar onset als?

: The tongue isn't actively involved in chewing but does play a role in moving food so it can be swallowed. The massiter muscles.and temporomandibular joint are more apt to fatigue in chewing. I did have one case of severe lingual fatigue which turned out to be an early manifestation of Parkinson's disease. A specialist in oral pathology at a university hospital can evaluate and advise you further.

Globus: Sounds like something we call "globus" or the sensation of having a lump in the throat. It could be post-nasal drip or something else. Best to see an ENT and let them take a look with a laryngoscope.

Yes: It may be part of constellation of auto immune disorder.
It may occur as primary or secondary with other symptoms.Please check with  Rheumatologist  regarding weak tongue.
In the meantime take primrose oil which contains linoleic acid &amp; GLA will give relief of dry eyes.

Medication?: Did you start taking anything new before this started? If so, you can try Diphenhydramine and see if that helps. You should contact whoever gave you the medication about stopping it.

Muscle problem : it is possible to develop a nodule or firm area in your neck muscles from a tear or injury to the muscle. You need to be evaluated to make sure that there isn't something else going on like an enlarged lymph node, cyst, or other type of growth. You should see an ENT.

: I would think that it's crunching your abdomen while sitting that could cause nausea and not pressure on your inner thigh. Apparently your thigh isn't tender&amp; there is no evident superficial phlebitis there.  I assume the nausea is relieved by standing up. Has a physician examined you for this symptom and suggested any testing? ? A pelvic examination by a gynecologist with attention to the groin.

Fibroma: Just manufacturing defect. Old injury can present as organised hematoma also.

Yes: Hpv is a risk factor for cancer. If you suspect you have hpv, see your physician for follow up.

Injury or growth: This could be the result of injury or a tear to the muscle, muscle spasming (ie: charlie horse), a benign growth or tumor, or a much more serious problem such as a sarcoma (malignant cancer of the muscle). You need to see a doctor to check this out.
