See doctor: If the problem is progressing after over a week, it is time for you to consult your doctor.  The best guess I can give  you is poison ivy but one needs to make sure that there is nothing more serious.

Sluggish return.: There is a whole host of conditions that can cause the swelling of the lower extremity. Typically the vascular system is involved, including the venous return. The lymph vessels might also be responsible. To remove all doubt, have your leg evaluated by a vascular specialist. You can certainly begin by consulting with a family practitioner first and then be referred to a specialist.

See your doctor : You need to see your doctor for a thorough evaluation to rule out serious pathology in your kidneys and heart as well as other systems. Low albumin levels as well as chronic anemia need to be ruled out as well. Arrange for a consultation ASAP

DVT or Phlebitis: This can be a very dangerous situation. If the redness and swelling includes your calves then you need to seek immediate emergency medical care.

If the rash and sores are just in the front of the lower legs this could be phlebitis. 

In either case you need medical attention. If you are having any shortness of breath or chest pain you need to call 911.

Bee sting: Probably you are not as its been quite a fews hours since the sting. However, bee stings are painful and can get worse . Please see your doctor to determine if you needs additional care.

Need more info: How much do you weigh? Are you diabetic? How and when did you lose sight in the eye? Any other symptoms? What you described may be due to inflammation and you need  to be evaluated by a doctor?

Skin reaction: Many patients can have a skin reaction after getting bitten.  Mild swelling, redness and itchiness are somewhat initial normal responses.  Occasionally, some patients will have worse reactions due to an allergic response.   If you are concerned you should have an exam done with the correct diagnosis and treatment plan!
