reduces  number of red blodd cells in your blood and can cause low platlet count l, and in case of mononucleosis there is risk of ruptuture.

Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form.

Spleen Enlargement:: Spleen lies in left upper quadrant of abdomen, under the rib cage. Normally not palpable, when palpable means-, double sized. Sometimes palpable spleen seen without any cause, resolves. Common cause: hemolytic anemia, e.g. Sickle cell, thalassemia, heriditary spherocytosis, pyruvate kinase deficiency, etc. Mono infection in children and adolescent causes enlargement. Talk to his pediatrician.
