Arthritis, nerve inj: Contimued pain in the arm may be related to any of the three nerves entering the arm.  I t may also be related to arthritis, tendonitis, or muscle problems.  A thorough evaluation including in depth physical examination and perhaps nerve testing may be needed.

This : This can usually heal itself.  It is important to be sure there is no other elbow injury such as a fracture.  A risk is infection, and if the area became red, swollen, or the patient has a fever then they should be seen immediately.

Yes: Certainly can but so can 10 other things.  If it is bothering you, i recommend seeing a doctor who specializes in musculoskeletal medicine. Musculoskeletal pain can be tricky to diagnose.

Locked elbow: Very important to make sure you do not have a spontaneous infection. If you have any fever redness or lots of pain with motion go to ER or your family doctor and get this checked out ASAP.  If not infected could be a loose body or other soft tissue structure getting stuck in the elbow joint.  Go to an orthopedic surgeon and get 3Vs xrays of the elbow done. If Xrays negative then get MRI.

Cervical spondylosis: Cervical spondylosis (http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/cervical-spondylosis/basics/definition/con-20027408) refers to arthritis of spine. While it can cause numbness/tingling/weakness in arms &amp; hands, it won't cause pain per se in joints. Elbow &amp; wrist pain could be due to wear/tear, repetitive injury, infections, etc. Go see your Family Doc for complete evaluation.

an injury caused a large joint effusion w/ elevation of the anterior & posterior fat pads on elbow.  will the fat pads heal and return to its place?

Kind of: The fat pads are normal structures and so they don't really heal.  In a x-ray of a normal elbow, they are usually not seen as they are within the joint.  When the elbow joint has extra fluid in it, they float out of the joint and are visible.  So when you see fat pads on an x-ray, that is a sign of a significant elbow injury even if a fracture is not seen, as in an occult radial head fracture.

what could be the cause of both my arms aching particularly down the back of them round my triceps/elbows. no exercise or injury recently. thank you?

: If pain still persists after using Ibuprofen OTC for 2-3 days as needed, you should see a rheumatologist for a preliminary diagnosis of myopathy (disease of the muscles).
