Hot head: It is more common to have a numb sensation on the top of the head. Most of the time people complained of temperature change on top of the head, i found them to be anxious. Are you under a lot of stress?  Please do not get the wrong idea. I am not suggesting anything. For the most part, it is probably nothing serious as I do not know of any significantly bad condition with this complaint.

? Dry: Is it possible your skin feels like its burning since it is very dry? Do you take hot showers, use a lot of soap on your body and never use a moisturizer? If this is the case i would modify what you do. Only use soap in your private parts, keep your showers short and use a moisturizer cream or ointment not a lotion before you go to bed at night. Skip taking a shower over the weekend and see if tha.

Atypical symptom: Burning in such a large area of your body is atypical. I am not sure of the cause but if it is central nervous system related it has to be coming from right side of the brain possibly thalamus. This however extremely rare and very unlikely. Most likely there is some other non nervous system related explanation.

Eczema or psoriasis: Eczema and psoriasis are two things that can cause scalp rashes and burning sensations. If you pull your hair back in a tight pony tail then you may be damaging your hair follicles and that may feel like a burning.  See a dermatologist for a diagnosis and treatment.  Shampoos may be helpful if it is psoriasis.  Oral antihistamines may work to reduce the burning if it is eczema.
