Angioma: An angioma is a blood vessel malformation.  Localized angioma's would not in and of themselves cause memory problems.  However, angiomas may rupture and bleed, causing subarachnoid and bleeding within the brain substance.  Under those situations memory can be affected.

Not really: How young are you? Are you under a lot of stress? The only reason scientifically speaking is that you inherited the tendency to have them from your parents.  For the most part they are harmless. My Chinese upbringing taught me to believe that it is a sign of blessing from  each time a person do a good deed!  I would be proud to have many of them! otherwise consult a cosmetic surgeon to remove them

Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form.

Get HPV vaccine, if you are under 27 years of age.

Have it checked: Everything is possible. Have it checked as it might be squamous cell carcinoma or some other cancer especially if you are over 40 and smoked or drank alcohol for many years

neurologist requested mri due to severe headaches, migraines, numbness, etc. nurse called, result is angioma "not serious". could that be the cause?

Venous angiomas: or developmental venous anomalies(DVAs), if that's what the nurse is referring to, are generally incidental findings and, in the vast majority of cases, of no clinical significance and requiring no treatment.  So it is unlikely to be the cause of your symptoms, but you should discuss the results with your doctor if you have questions.
