Most likely benign: Most likely this represents a Cyst (Water filled sac) and to confirm this, a Renal Ultrasound may need to be done if the Radiologist does not commit to say it is a Cyst by CT scan.
At your Age Cyst are overwhelmingly benign especially below 1 centimeter.
If a Cyst I would repeat not the CT scan but the Ultrasound in 1-2 years to check for stability of the lesion's size.

It could: We have several sinuses in the head.  Depending on which sinuses were imaged a brain tumor could be visualized if one were present in the captured field of view.

Cavum septi pellucid: From http://neuro.Psychiatryonline.Org/article.Aspx?Articleid=100939 - enlarged cavum septi pellucidi (csp) is a neurodevelopmental anomaly associated with schizophrenia...A small csp is common in a large proportion of healthy control subjects and is therefore considered to be a "normal variant." determination of how large a csp must be in order to reflect pathology is unclear. Normal is 1-4 mm.

Meningitis: Meninges are layers of connective tissue that envelope the brain. When they get irritated, which among other things can be due to infection, they enhance more than normal; this is called meningitis.  The ventricular dilation in this case may represent mild hydrocephalus, which can be due to poor outflow or inadequate reabsorption of csf. Loss of corticomedullary distinction can be due to swelling.

Meningitis: Is suggested on the ct study. This could be viral or bacterial and spinal tap  with cultures of spinal fluid is required. Outcome depends on cause and how quickly treatment is initiated. Each person is different but many patients resolve with few complications.

Maybe: Depending upon the practice/physician, unless they receive a call or there is an impending emergency, you may not receive a call prior to the planned time.
