Antihistamines: There are several newer antihistamines that are now over the counter.  They all are about the same.  Allegra, zyrtec and Claritin (loratadine) to name a few.  Try these at suggested dosage.  If they don't work, see your doctor.

It  depends: Testing for allergy to medications is indicated only if you had a reaction to a drug in the past and it is important to find out if you are really allergic or you need to be treated with it again. There is no good blood test, usually a skin test is performed. In most cases, administering the drug in a controlled manner in clinic is necessary. If you were allergic to cats in the pat, you sill are.

Go to ER for eval.: Infection rate from cat bites is high. You may need antibiotics.  If you haven't had a tetanus shot in the last 10 years or your don't know - then you will a need another tetanus shot. Get prompt care. This can quickly become a serious problem.

Yes: Allergy shots are the best long-term answer to this situation. I never like people to think, "i'll go on the shots so that it's ok to keep my cats, " but if you're going to keep them anyway (which is not a good idea, particularly if the cats cause asthma symptoms in addition to nasal symptoms), he should definitely go on the shots. But you need to decide if  you value your cats more than his health.

Celiac artery Ca2+: Before you try anything you should talk with your doc about what really needs to be done.  If your artery needed opening I am sure they would have recommended something specific.  If this is part of a more generalized process you may need a medication for that. Multiple "allergies" can be a problem.

Don't know what cat: Is as a drug.  However, if you are using amphetamine like drugs, opiates, marijuana, benzodiazepines, pcp, Cocaine or other commonly abused drugs for which testing is usually done, then there is nothing you can do at this point. I would be more worried about having a drug problem than in being caught. What you can do is get help and be honest with yourself.If you try to beat test, they will find it.

Cat allergy therapy: If you don't take medication, there are 2 treatment modalities remaining for you: reduce exposure to the cat, or take allergy shots. Reducing exposure can include using a filter at home or getting rid of carpets, bathing the cat and cleaning deeply. It can help a bit, but not as much as putting kitty outside or in someone else's home. Steroid nose sprays help too tho; they're a non-pill medicine.
