Leave the room: This is one step in the sleep technique developed by dr. Ferber.  You can train your baby to "self-soothe" by leaving and and progressively waiting longer between comforting your baby at bedtime.  You can start with 3 minutes and progress to 5, 7 and so on until your baby falls asleep. When returning, don't pick up your baby, just console him/her. It seems hard and even cruel, but it works.

Usually 0 to 3 days: Dose for acetaminophen is 15mg of medicine for each kg that a baby weighs. Thus, a 4-kg baby would take 60mg (maximum of about 3-4 doses per day for 2-3 days). If using pounds, then the dose of acetaminophen is 7mg per pound of baby. A 9-lb baby would take 63mg but just round down to 60mg. If a baby is very fussy even after 1-2 doses of medicine, his doctor will want to discuss the situation.

Constipation: Is hard and infrequent stools. You can give a glycerin suppository once and see igf that helps. Baby may be crying if mom is breastfeeding and drinking milk, eating dairy. If using milk based formula then can also cause tummy ache. Baby could be colicky too.. Go see your doctor and discuss this. You will feel better and so will baby!
