Yes: It is safe to take the two drugs, the combination may increase beta blocker levels which could cause low blood pressure, a slow heart rate, and possible
 a-v block. The prescibing physican should re-evaluate you  in several weeks, and sooner if you become symptomatic.

i ran out of carvedilol 6.25 that i take 2 a day and have missed 2 days of it. can i take a losartan 25mg to replace til i can take my carvedilol tomorrow?

: Carvedilol is a beta blocker that lessens the work load of the heart by slowing heart rate &amp; reducing force of contraction, while losartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker that works very differently, relaxing blood vessels to lower blood pressure, thereby reducing heart work load. They are not substitutes for each other. Call your MD or whoever covers for instructions who'll look up your record

i take coreg (carvedilol) and losartan at 9:30 am and take a losartan again at 4:pm and take coreg (carvedilol) again at 9:30 pm. i missed my 4pm lorsartan. what should i do?

Missed Medication : For most medications, a missed dose is not ideal but usually does no harm so just take the next dose on time. Missed  blood pressure or blood sugar medication and antibiotics may need to be taken upon remembering, if within half the time prior to the next dose, possibly at half dose. Anticoagulants need to be discussed with the  MD ASAP. Use a medication organizer with a timer. Prevention Works!

do i need to taper 3.125 2x a day carvedilol? i've been taking it for 7 days?

: It all has to do with context in which you had to start it and now you have to stop it. Usually no need to taper, but best would be to follow your doc's recommendations.
