Possibly: Depends on the type of cardiomyopathy.  If this is different from your baseline then you should get checked by your physician.  Cardiomyopathy patients are at risk of arrhythmias, particularly atrial fibrillation, and decompensation, both of which will increase your baseline heart rate

Compensation: There is a decline in the amount of blood flow delivered by each heart beat.  The heart compensates by beating more often to maintain overall output.  Also the decline in blood flow may result in excess adrenaline which elevates the blood pressure.  Alternatively high blood pressure causes cardiomyopathy.

dangerous: Hypotension to 50s and 60s is not good. You need to go for a check up soon. All that is needed is an adjustment of your BP pills.

Not always true: Blood pressure does not always increase with a dilated cardiomyopathy but can in some cases.  Heart rate can increase primarily in order to 'compensate'.

Peripartum : Peripartum cardiomyopathy is progressive damage to the heart muscle cells during the last month of pregnancy lasting until 5 months after delivery.  The cause is unknown and damage can lead to heart failure.  The good news is with early diagnosis and current heart failure treatment regimens, 98% of women survive and more than 50% of them regain completely normal heart function.

As far as your holter monitor reading goes, i can't really say whether it is a "good" reading or not since I do not have information about previous studies, your echocardiogram, ekg, or clinical picture.  The best person to contact with specific questions about your condition and prognosis is your ob/gyne or cardiologist.  They will be able to more accurately answer your questions since they have all of your information.

Borderline low but:: Normal heart rate is 60-100, though it is usually 60-80. Thus, 59 is borderline low but I am sure it is not 59 all the time; if you check your heart rate 20 times a day you will probably get 20 different readings and it can change moment-to-moment, so if it usually 60 or above I would not be  concerned. Those who do a lot of aerobic exercise often tend to have lower heart rates.
