A little: If your pregnancy isn't complicated by preterm labor or shortened cervix, the pressure of gravity on your cervix with either working or sitting shouldn't be an issue. If you have these complications, decreasing gravity's effects works best with lying down. We don't normally recommend restricting your activity that much unless your at high risk for preterm delivery.

hi im 3 days late and my cervix is low , hard and closed and i know i cant be pregnant because my husband was out of town? what could it be?

No conclusions: Cervical position essentially means nothing. This is not something that obgyns evaluate in a nonpregnant woman. There is no reason to be making any sort of health decisions based on the way your cervix feels. The cervix stays basically closed until one goes into labor.  If you feel a mass on your cervix have a doctor verify. If you feel you have uterine prolapse a doctors can check that too

cant find small tampon i extensively searched for it and my husband too and feel nothing. could it really hide, i even felt cervix? fall out peeing?

How is he trying?: I assume you mean he isn't feeling your cervix with his penis during intercourse.  Generally, that is a good thing!  Excess contact between the penis and cervix can be uncomfortable for the woman during sex.
The length and shape of your vagina will change depending on your body position and whether or not you are sexually aroused, causing your cervix to seem closer or farther away.

cycle normally 25days,. i took a test on day 31, had unprotected sex on the 11th (day 30) it's day 35 still no period, but cervix so high cant feel it?

Repeat it..: Since you took a test on day 31 and it was negative, pregnancy is unlikely. That is, providing you did the test correctly. If you have doubts, do the test again. Since you are TTC, you might want to see a doctor to help you with the irregular cycles, if it turns out that you are not pregnant. Good luck!

okay so im on the pill. im 7 months postpartum. i have a app that tells me when im supposed to ovulate and thats supposedly like today. 11/23/22 & my cervix is high, open & soft. what does this mean? i thought i cant ovulate on the pill. ?

: The pill stops or reduces the formation of the ovum but is not 100% effective that's why there is a rate of failure (about 1%) Regarding the findings the best person to advise is your OB/Gyn who knows your situation best

Depends...: On other findings on examination.  Mri is generally not used to evaluate cervical disease, but could be useful if a uterine anatomic abnormality is suspected.

Have exam: You need an exam to make sure you are not dilating early or that you don't have a vaginal infection.  Having had 5 babies already, your cervix may shorten or dilate early. If you didn't have preterm labor in the past, your risk is small.

hello my question is, if i get high risk hpv through genital rubbing, can it show up in urine test? since i am virgin the virus cannot go into cervix and smear is not effective in this situation. how can i prevent vulva cancer? urine test effective?

Less likely to : get high risk HPV this way, but to decrease risk be sure to consider the HPV vaccine series, the Pap smear is still most likely way to pick up the HPV DNA if it is present.

Normal variant: Depending on the number of children born via vaginal delivery a woman has, sometimes her cervix can be 
"bulky".  Typically if a woman has never had a vaginal delivery, her cervix will be small, as it's never stretched out. Bulky is a normal variant and doesn't mean that there's anything wrong with the cervix, per se.
