Good for all: The candida diet- which is low in processed sugars would probably benefit many people, even if they dont have a particularly obvious yeast infection. Signs of  yeast overgrowth could include irritability, mood swings, sugar cravings, skin rashes, bloating, constipation, diarrhea, chronic fatigue, rectal and or vaginal itching. There are blood and stool tests that can confirm a candida infection

Diet change?: The first question is why are you on the candida diet? Could be that whatever was diagnosed as candida (not a real diagnosis in many physicians opinion) is the culprit. The other possibility is that the calories you are eating on the new diet are not enough to carry you through the day.

"Candida diet": Although suggested by some alternative medicine practitioners, there is very little evidence to suggest that Candida overgrowth actually occurs. There are no clinical trials that show a candida cleanse diet treats anything. However, stopping sugar and processed foods is probably a good idea anyway. No particular multivitamin is better than the others. Good luck.

See below: Thrush is treated with antifungal topical treatmenst such as nystatin(mycostatin) liquid suspension swish and swallow or Clotrimazole troches to dissolve in mouth.  If this fails oral systemic treatment with fluconazole(diflucan) 100-200mg./day will usually be curative.  Disease in aids patients can be more refractory.  No diet will cure thrush.

Years: If you have a real yeast infection, diet won't help (unless, maybe, you are diabetic and loose a bunch of weight). Candida diets went out with the yeast connection years ago. Don't waste your time. You probably don't have it anyway, if it doesn't involve your private parts and you are otherwise healthy.
