Mostly not: Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) does not interact with most antibiotics according to the epocrates app. The only one listed is linezolid, which is an antibiotic given intravenously.

: The common explanation for stimulant effect in ADHD is it turns on a monitor section of the brain that allows you to cancel out distractions. If you find you focus and produce better on the med, that is the desired effect. Good for you.

Counter productive: Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) is a stimulant.  5 htp is converted to seratonin and has sedating properties that mya counter the stimulating effect of vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine)..  If you are using 5 htp to help you sleep, speak to your doctor about other approaches to sleep initiation.

POTS: Medications used to treat adhd such as Ritalin or amphetamines or  vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine)  effectively increase norepinephrine & Dopamine levels, thereby increasing vasoconstriction & blood pressure. Central net inhibition can reduce sympathetic outflow through stimulation of a2 adrenoreceptors. Discuss this with your prescribing doc.
