Have adhd & just started with vyvanse. i noticed that i can function and do things. i noticed tht when i dont take them, i cant do things and im not able to focus. is this just the result of my adhd and what its like when im not taking them?

The common explanation for stimulant effect in ADHD is it turns on a monitor section of the brain that allows you to cancel out distractions. If you find you focus and produce better on the med, that is the desired effect. Good for you.
