Probably safe: Vitex or chaste berry has estrogen modulating effects and should not interact with the others meds your are taking.

Yes: Yes, they are commonly used together.  Although Dexamethasone may supress the immune system some, the benefits of reducing the inflammation usually are worth this.

Not a good idea: It seems you are taking sertraline, lorazepam, and promethazine - in this setting you may want to avoid alcohol altogether. Drinking a small amount of  alcohol the night before the test is probably not going to interfere with the test, but it defeats the purpose of a test to have factors potentially interfere with the test, when they can easily be avoided.

occassionally, i have to take a three-day course of dexamethasone. because i'm a type 2 diabetic, it casuses my blood glucose to increase significantly. how soon after taking my last dexamethasone pill will my glucose return to baseline?

Steroids and DM: I would recommend that you discuss with your doctor alternative treatment for the condition requiring you to use oral steroids. It is very difficult to return your blood glucose to normal after oral or injectable steroids. In my experience it has taken as long as 3-4 wks and that is with excellent nutrition and the best oral medication combination.

its day 15 since my covid symptoms, im done with quarantine. once covid is gone, are the complications that come with it also gone? i had mild covid pneumonia and took dexamethasone for it, i want to know that im okay now. x ray will take days?

: Nice to hear you're recovering nicely! At this point, no dangerous complications will occur. There could still be risk of "long covid", but probably not if you're feeling well and have normal energy, appetite, and mental functioning. It could take several weeks for chest xray abnormalities to clear, but that doesn't matter if you are breathing normally.

: It's very safe. We often administer tylenol to prevent fever when a patient is to receive chemotherapy along with big doses of dexamethasone.
