Depends on variables: If you never had it you may develop it 10-21 (ave 14) days after first exposure and become a new contagious case.You shed virus for a day or so before until 6-7 days after you first break out.  If you had it & were passively exposed (in a room but no contact) you don't carry it.

Varacella: You get chicken pox once but the second part of the disease, zoster or shingles can happen multiple times.  It definitely can cause eye and ear problems in general but not specifically in pregnancy,  If you are exposed to chicken pox or shingles while pregnant it can be very dangerous especially if you get it in the lungs.
