if i'm allergic to wheat what types of carbs can i eat?

Wheat allergy: A true wheat allergy means specific antibodies only to wheat are identified. If there are no other severe food allergies, carbs like rye, barley, rice, corn, potatoes, sweet potatoes, oats and sugar can be eaten. Only in celiac disease, which is an immunologic reaction to gluten, do you need to avoid rye and barley in addition to wheat. A gluten free diet is usually wheat free, though.

Allergy: If you're truly allergic to shellfish, you must avoid prawn, shrimp, clams, and lobster. The next allergic reaction can be fatal!!

Sneezing and watery : Hello, sneezing and tearing are symptoms an allergic reaction. This could be seasonal, contact, perennial or possibly food linked. If this is a minor problem, you could try an otc antihistamine and eye drops. If it is worse, see your doctor for other therapy and possibly testing.

50:50: In general carbs/protein should be equal with a few caveats. If you are significantly overweight and want to get into a mild ketosis "fat burn" state keep the total carbs below 85 g. Increase protein a bit if you were actively muscle building. For exercise and endurance ad carbs as you go. Good health

Since food consists: of carbohydrates, proteins and fats, a "no carb" diet would have to include only protein and fat.  That is not practical and is not healthy.  Check out www.drmcdougall.com and www.nutritionfacts.org for excellent research and information on the benefits of plant-based eating.

eggs, fish, meat, chicken, turkey, and cheese are all examples of protein, fat without carbs. Many nuts are also protein and fat with little to no carbs as well.

Depends: Carbs" Carbohydtates" are part of nutrition releasing most immediate energy. If not burned by activity - will deposit as fatt cells in our body. Depends which carbs... natural as fruit, vegetable are great. But avoid " Man made" carbs as bakery goods , sweets, juices, sodas... most are processed and have no nutritional value except excess calories converting  to abdominal fat. Balance is tje key.

Carbs! White?: Sugar and starch. Sugar and flour. Potato.  But colored starches are not special carbs! all carbs are highly glycemic unless they have a good amount of fiber-beans, lentlis, etc.  Avoid starch and sugars, whenever possible.

Foods with fiber: Foods with lots of fiber have healthy carbs because the carbs are slowly digested so that they turn into sugars slowly, thus avoiding a sudden surge of sugar into one's bloodstream after eating. Choosing natural foods that are like vegetable and whole grains is helpful. Fruits have a lot of sugar. Whole grains that are overly processed (made soft and smooth) have lost some of their fiber benefit.
