No: Getting into an argument does not hurt a developing pregnancy as long as there is no physical injury. Consider seeing a counselor if there is trouble in the marriage. If you feel threatened or in physical danger seek help immediately.

i'm preg. i went to a bonfire tonight and i was really cold for a little while. can this hurt the pregnancy? is being cold dangerous for baby?

Probably not: Unlikely to cause any problems if just for short period of time. Check with your obstetrician.

does crying hurt the baby during pregnancy? can the baby feel when i'm upset? does crying effect the baby growth or effect the baby an any way?

Accepted Answer

No: Your emotions don't have any overt affect on the baby other than the fact that when you're sad a lot you may not feel like eating properly.  Pregnancy is a very emotional time for most women.  A good cry can be helpful as well in letting out some of that emotion and stress.

was outside & was very cold for about an hour and a half. i'm in early pregnancy. could being cold for that long hurt the pregnancy or the baby? help

Most likely not: Women's bodies are amazingly set up to protect a pregnancy, even in cold weather. First of all, the baby is in the exact core of your body. Second, you probably have an extra layer of "insulation" around your abdomen, buttocks, and thighs. The reason that women are put together this way is to make sure that any viable pregnancy has the best chance at success. I think your baby will be just fine.

Hello, : Hello, they may have done a pregnancy test that shows if you are pregnant or not but does not give specific levels of HCG (that could help to date the pregnancy).  So, now you know you are pregnant. The next thing to do is to make an appointment with an obstetrician. The obstetrician will be able to help develop a time table for how far along you are in your pregnancy.  Make sure to let your obstetrician know that you are experiencing morning sickness and some back aches, so that she or he can make appropriate recommendations.  Please ensure that you take prenatal vitamins and that you avoid alcohol in the meantime.

Ambiguity: There is no way to answer this. Headaches and stomach aches are found in nearly all conditions and illnesses.  I would need more information about when you ovulate; when you have your period, and how long they are. Have you missed your period? Have you done a pregnancy test? It says you are a male? Are you sexually active? If so why are you not preventing pregnancy?

but we recommend low impact sport in pregnancy
light runing is ok

Not usually: There are a number of physiologic changes that occur during pregnancy.  Pregnancy is not an illness, however.  Most women can continue working safely although certain modifications may be necessary due to physical changes that occur.  There are certain chemicals you want to avoid exposure to.  As pregnancy progresses, women will experience more discomfort and may need to limit their activity.

Not necessarily.: Early pregnancy sxs can include: no period, breast swelling ; tenderness w darkened areolas, thin, white ; milky vaginal discharge, fatigue, ^ urination frequency, constipation, bloating, heartburn, backache, cramping, headache, food cravings or aversions, ^ sense of smell, enlarged waist, feeling faint/dizzy, mood swings, ^ gas, insomnia, gagging more easily ; yawning. Take pregnancy test to know.

do you really need to wait 6 weeks before working again after pregnancy?

Accepted Answer

Not necessarily: It will depend on the type of work you do and the type of birth you had.  C-section patients will most likely need 6 weeks.  Normal vaginal deliveries with no stitches and no complications can probably go back sooner.  Talk to your doctor about this.  I went back to work in 2 weeks after one of my kids.  I DO NOT recommend this!
