Pulled muscle...: Voluntarily induction of vomiting is never recommended and it sounds like you injured a muscle or connective tissue on the right side of your chest. Try taking an analgesic.  If symptoms persist then see a doctor. Good luck!

YouGotYourHeartInIt: Glad I saw this.It worries me a little.Of course,any doctor would need to know more but,a lot of other possibilities aside for now,at your age it could be related to your heart.A rather rare form of angina.I'd expect you'd get those symptoms after exertion too but everybody is unique.Best to get the heart issue settled ASAP. I'd also consider what I've been eating and how much. Lighten-up for now.

Couple of reasons: Chest pain induced by vomiting is unlikely to represent angina, though it is possible if the vomiting is an atypical presentation of heart attack. This can be seen occasionally. The esophagus can undergo significant strain during vomiting/retching, and it is even possible to tear it slightly, which can be dangerous if not immediately detected.

See a doctor now: Chest pain needs to be taken seriously. Even right sided chest pain can mean a blocked blood vessel in your heart and can have serious consequences. Other possible causes are Reflux, inflammation of the food pipe (oesophagitis), chest infection, a clot in your lung and so on. You need to see your doctor immediately

: If you do not have history of coronary heart disease just rest, take 15 cc of antacid such as Mylanta if available, if pain subsides pain is likely from the esophagus but if pain gets worse with some other symptoms such as sweating, shortness of breath or pain radiating to the left arm or the jaw, call 911. If you have history of CAD, take NTG SL as instructed by your doctor.

Vomiting with some amount of chest pain is acceptable, but if the pain is sever or if you noted blood with pain, or if you start having chest pain or fever, better check with doc for physical exam.
