UTI: This would be very very unusual.  Also without knowing what type of pain you are having and where it is located and whether you have other symptoms and being able to do an exam it is impossible to diagnose. Go see a doctor.  Good luck and get better soon.

Yes: You can have a UTI and not have pain while urinating.

UTI: Failure to respond may mean several things. The causative agent is not sensitive to the antibiotic; it is being used in the wrong dose, route of administration, or frequency; you have something besides uti; you have major severe complications of uti, and other possibilities. Suggest you return to doctor and be reassessed.

May need antibiotic: Utis are quite common in females and often need antibiotic treatment. There are instances where mild infections do disappear on their own, but  significant bacterial utis often require antibiotic. Otc med such as Azo can help reduce the discomfort/burning/urgency symptoms, but does not get rid of the infection itself. So, if you have much symptoms, consult doc.  Good luck.

On Antibiotics: If you are taking medicine to the treat the infection, the antibiotics might cause stomach upset
Also the infection itself might go up to the bladder and causes discomfort

i have had left flank/side pain off and on for 13 days. no uti symptoms, have some pain in both of my ovary areas. no stomach pains. should i be concerned?

: See your GYN physician for guidance, who may order a pelvic ultrasound to rule out ovarian cysts.  If negative, obtain a referral to a GI specialist for colon disease.

child has jra on methotrexate and naproxin and been having lower left stomach pains  not constipated and no uti  what could be wrong?

See a pediatrician: Preferably the person who is treating the child for jra,  hope they feel better soon.

3 yr daughter had a uti. dr wants u/s of kidneys bc shes under 7 for anything that can predispose her to uti. what would that be? she had an u/a done of her entire abdomen 2x for stomach pain. would they have seen then what the dr is looking for now?

: In young children UTIs can be the product of any malformation or obstruction of the outflow tract. I have seen congenital duplication of the outflow tract, blockage of the ureters building back pressure on the kidneys and more. The doc sounds like someone who knows their stuff. Previous studies may have overlooked an issue or a new obstructive issue could have emerged.

i have cloudy urine and lower stomach pain and have been on different uti meds the past three weeks and still having symptoms.

See MD: if the treatment you are using is not working return to your MD to be reevaluated.  A simple test can tell if your urine is still infected

Yes: But if you have severe back pain, persistent fevers , nausea and vomiting  see your doc it could be kidney infection.
