Doctor can evaluate: Sticky discharges can come out of many places on the human body. If a person thinks a new sticky discharge is related to some sort of sexual activity with a new or renewed sexual partner, he can visit his primary care doctor and describe his symptoms and activities to his doctor. The doctor can then do the appropriate testing to see if there is an infectious cause for the sticky discharge.

Hard to say: If you are a female, i would suspect this may be due to some of the ejaculate (within the vagina) mixing w/the urine.  Less likely to be a UTI without pain or odor, etc.

UTI: This may indicate a urinary tract infection. It's best to have the urine tested. This also may indicate a vaginal discharge comingling with urine.

: Yes, if pregnancy is present, it can be detected from, 'urine test after 21 days of unprotected sex'.  It is always a good idea to see the Obstetric/ Gynecology expert, especially if pregnancy is desired. The PCP is also an option.

: The immune system cures gonorrhea and chlamydia within a few months, rarely up to a year. Any infeciton 4 years ago is long gone, and cannot give a positive test.

Here are some ...: Clinically and usually, there is no practical need to do such test after unprotected sex except those of high-risk for contracting STDs and in pregnancy. i am female and had unprotected sex w/ a male for 5-10 secs (then used protection) on a mon 11:30 pm. i tested thurs at 11:00am for chlamdyia and gono via a urine test, both were negative. is this enough time for detection, are the results accurate?

Probably not: It is possible that the negative urine test may not be accurate and it seems doubtful that if either chlamydial or gonorrheal microorganisms were introduced into your vagina "in 5-10 secs" , they would be detectable in your urine as quickly as you describe.  A sample obtained from your vagina or cervix may be more reliable.

small amount of bilirium detected in urine today (day 50 after unprotected sex) but hiv combo/hepatitis negative at 6 weeks. should i retest?

: Bilirubin in urine has nothing to do with HIV, and our negative HIV and hepatitis tests are conclusive.
