If a person thinks a new sticky discharge is related to some sort of sexual activity with a new or renewed sexual partner, he can visit his primary care doctor and describe his symptoms and activities to his doctor. The doctor can then do the appropriate testing to see if there is an infectious cause for the sticky discharge.
