2 separate problems: These 2 problems should be addressed separately. 1. Mouth ulcer also called canker sores are the most common oral lesions. Individual ulcers typically last 1-2 weeks and no treatment is needed. 2. Heartburn could be serious GI problem and should be addressed by primary care physician. Good luck.

Other causes: A much rarer cause for sores in your mucous membranes is behcets disease - worth discussing with your primary care doc. 
You can't tell a patient they have herpes if the test is negative.

Mouth ulcers: Please see a dentist to get a proper diagnosis.  This may be viral or an apthos ulcer.  Ususally they will heal in 7 to 10 days without treatment.  But a dentist can provide treatment to accelerate the healing process
