See below: There is no difference in the calories provided by formula and breast milk. 3 week old babies should be feeding around every 3 hours. And they should be waking at night for feeding. There is no reason to switch to formula.

Accepted Answer

No: Babies move differently at different times when in utero.  You may notice more movement at night or when you lay down.  They can even get hiccups.  Don't worry, as long as she is moving everything is fine.

Development : Infant sleep patterns vary, and this may be normal. I would suggest checking him during the night to ensure that he is comfortable and breathing normally. Please discuss with your pediatrician. 
There are many reasons related to crying such as hunger, wet diapers, illness.

No way to tell: In the early 80's nelson et al.Published an interesting analysis from the national collaborative perinatal project  (50 k births)  that found that the majority of kids with a CP DX at 7 yrs had been born after a normal p/l/d with normal apgar scores. This points out how hard it is to be sure what goes on during pregnancy. The best you can do is keep healthy and avoid risks when you can.

my infant won't make a bowl movement unless i stick a thermometer in her rectum and move it around. is this normal? how do i get her to go on her own?

Bowel Movements: She will go on her own when she is ready to go.  The biggest mistake we as parents make is thinking our babies have to go everyday.  If you keep stimulating her with the thermometer, she will get to the point she will only go when she has that stimulus.  So stop doing that.  Some babies go multiple times a day, some go everyday, some go once a week.  Adults do that too.  Be patient.

accidentally stuck nasal aspirator up babies nose further than normal, she moved her head suddenly as i was trying to suck booger out and it went further up her nose. she didnt cry but im scared ive hurt her?

Wouldn't think so: This is not an unusual event or one likely to do harm. The area would bleed with any tissue injury. The nose is pretty plastic at that age. I would try to relax &amp; just give cuddles.

Labor with twins: Well, you are getting closer to labor and delivery because you are 35 weeks pregnant. A term pregnancy even with twins is 40 weeks. Twins are most frequently born between 35 and 37 weeks gestation. So you are close.

Probably: A baby floating in the slick moist environment of the womb will have pristine skin at birth.Between 2 wks and 2 months, more than half of infants will have transient baby acne triggered by the hormones that came across during pregnancy.I would keep it clean &amp; allow it to run its course. If any sites are more inflamed or persistent, your doc should evaluate. It should fade completely by 3 mo.
