the past couple of days i've been feeling confused, dizzy, light headed and weak and can barely think. my posture is terrible and my neck is unstable. could this poor posture be the cause?. should i try to correct it?

: Your symptoms could be caused by many things but most commonly they occur with dehydration, That you jump right to posture is telling since it has nothing to do with any acute issue and everything to do with self-image or what someone else has told you. To a doctor "unstable neck" is an emergency but you add it as a random afterthought. Ask about these issues separately or better yet, see a doctor

Dizziness: Vertigo on turning your head is characteristic of an inner ear disorder for which meclizine is prescribed. Pain in neck and shoulder is often caused by a pinched nerve in the neck. I recommend consulting a neurologist.to evaluate both symptoms.

To differentiate: your dizziness diagnosis it would be useful to know your blood pressure and pulse rate lying, sitting and standing. This could help to determine dehydration from other autonomic dysfunction issues or inner ear problems. Ask a health care professional to evaluate and treat you for these symptoms before you have a pass out spell and hurt yourself.

It would be prudent to see your doctor and discuss if you may be depressed. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Bleeding, anemia: Fibroids, also called leiomyomas are benign uterine tumors (not cysts) that can cause pain and heavy bleeding with your periods. If they are causing very heavy periods, this can lead to anemia and the dizziness, lightheadedness, etc you described. They are easily diagnosed with an ultrasound. See your ob/gyn for this.

Cervical disc: It is unlikely that a bulging disc will cause your symptoms. It may cause muscle spasms of the neck muscles, which cause pain along with any nerve that is being pinched by the bulging disc. Pain can cause lightheadedness or even dizziness if it is severe. Please get evaluated by a physician.

In both cases the EEG is often abnormal (H response with photic flash and abnormal response to hyperventilation with acephalgic migraine with aura) Other reasons for "fainting" include dysautonmia due to neuropathy) No sure why an MRI was performed with your history) Did you see a neurologist?
