See your DR and: Get checked for heart/lung condition, asthma, anxiety, irregular heart rhythm etc. I presume u had all the necessary tests done. Have your thyroid function monitored. Cut down on caffeine/soda intake , minimize exposure to smoke. Get checked for pheochromocytoma. Take care!

Referred: There are neck pains that can radiate to the chest and vice versa.  Be careful with any signs of chest pains, though, especially if you have shortness of breath or the chest pain that radiates to the shoulder as that could be a mi.  Get it checked.

Musculoskeletal: You may have muscle spasm or neck vertebral problem. See your doc to identify the problem and treat it appropriately.

Probably not heart: Considering your age its unlikely the heart. But a full physical and and detailed history with an ekg and labs  would be good  to asess the problem and use for future comparison. Other non cardiac causes need to ruled out. Labs such as ANA , thyroid studies muscle enzymes should be included.

yes: Relatively rarely, a lower cervical radiculopathy can present with chest pain. Obviously, one would want to do a thorough workup of the much more common and worrisome cardiopulmonary causes of chest pain first. I do have a few patients that have had multiple cardiac workups that were negative and only got relief after neck surgery.

Heart Disease?: With the limited information, the foremost concern would be a heart condition such as angina. I would recommend that you get evaluated as soon as possible. It is possible you have cervical spine or a muscular cause for your symptoms, but these conditions are not life-threatening. Please get a cardiology evaluation first and make sure you don't have symptoms related to heart disease.

If I could, I'd ask you a few questions like what the pain is like and what you do to bring it on etc etc but with your particular story and with studies that indicate that right-sided chest pain is actually more specific for heart-induced pain in the chest i would kindly suggest you pick yourself up from the computer and call your doctor--NOW--

Costochondritis: Costochondritis is usually a localized inflammation of a joint between a rib and the sternum(breastbone) and causes pain and tenderness in that localized area. If you're having Sharp rib cage pain, worsened by a deep breath and radiating around the side to the back, a pinched nerve which runs between two ribs is suspected.  In view of your shortness of breath, an exam is indicated.

head, neck, arm, chest pain sometimes altogether and sometimes just two body parts together. happens pretty often, and has been happening off and on for months, what could be the cause? i do have acid reflux?

Time to see doc : Whenever experiencing protracted symptoms not explainable otherwise, an exam with detailed history and possibly tests will be needed. Best will to start with your doc, reflux is not likely to cause your symptoms, too many possibilities otherwise, somatic and/or mental.
