had a calf cramp about 2 hours ago. now i can't straighten leg to walk without great pain. what should i do?

Hydrate, ice&amp;heat: Need to slowly stretch this out. While doing so use heat. Then ice it for about 20 minutes. After ice wrap it with ace bandage. Make sure u replenish u'r electrolytes with Gatorade or something similar. Do the same thing tomorrow. Few times in the day and before bed. If no improvement after a day or two-I mean ZERO improvement, see a sports medicine or Orthopedic doc. Use Tylenol (acetaminophen) for pain.

B sure U have  been: Evaluated by an orthopedic surgeon 2 B sure there is not something mechanical in the knee such as a displaced meniscus , or a loose body. There is usually a history of recent or distant injury 2 the knee 4 it 2 become "locked". I am assuming that U mean extend the knee.

orthopedic said daughters knee-foot was fine after having cast on 4 wks. from knee-toes still hurt can't straighten leg or walk on foot. knee -foot still swollen. dr didn't give no reason for swelling. just she delt w/pain differently.  i'm at a lost?

Could be your back: Did you injure yourself in anyway? Did you start a new exercise regime? Are you overweight? Do you smoke? You need to see your physician for a proper work up . Your condition could be anything. Whatever you have it may be coming from your back because it entails both the leg and he foot. You may want to see a specialist for this. It may be as simple as sciatica or something more complex.
