B sure U have been: Evaluated by an orthopedic surgeon 2 B sure there is not something mechanical in the knee such as a displaced meniscus , or a loose body. There is usually a history of recent or distant injury 2 the knee 4 it 2 become "locked". I am assuming that U mean extend the knee.
