i have s struggled with anxiety and now im 11 wks pregnant, my anxiety has become even more exteme. will stress hurt my babies development?

Stress: pregnancy: Constant stress/anxiety is not unusual in pregnancy, especially with a "first pregnancy", but this has not statistically been proven to cause serious problems with fetal development, unless accompanied by eating disorders:  nutritional deficiencies can cause serious problems in pregnancy. See your OB physician and discuss possible therapies .

5 mos. pregnant, twins. haven't slept more than few hrs/night  in weeks,  partly anxiety, adrenaline rushes at night. don't want to hurt babies. help!

Many possibilities: In your situation, my first thought is to engage in psychotherapy to deal with the anxiety.  There are some safe medication that could augment the therapy and some safe natural remedies.  Ask your OB/GYN for a referral to someone s/he trusts.

: I would not lose sleep over this incident. Baby is the size of a pea wrapped inside protective tissues and fluid. These cushions prevent any interference with the developmental progress that happens automatically. It's the alcohol or drugs I worry most about during this period-avoid them.

Doubtful: Remember that the baby is surrounded by fluid, the amniotic fluid, in a large amniotic sac. It is doubtful that sitting up too fast would cause any harm to the baby, but it is possible you 'pulled a muscle' between your ribs called the intercostal muscle. Move more slowly and deliberately and avoid rapid movements!

Confusing question: Babies are usually carried in a vertical position. Do you mean bottom first ? If so there is a chance that surgical delivery would be safer for a big baby. Yet you do have quite a while for baby to turn head down.
