Worried enough: Depends if you have WPW pattern or WPW syndrome. If you have symptomatic wpw, you should be worried enough to get it treated. Since you have the diagnosis, i assume you're been evaluated.  You should follow the advice you've been given. Wpw has benign subsets and others who have an increased risk of sudden death. Your cardiologist can help determine what your risk is.

WPW: Wpw is a condition with an extra pathway between the top and bottom chambers of the heart resulting in pre-excitation and can result in tachyarrhythmias. The pathywa is ablated in a cath lab by an electrophysiologist (cardiologist who is an expert in the electrical system of the heart). Speak to your cardiologist for more info.

Wpw: Most of the time only one. Rarely there could be more then one. It is extremely rare to have more then 2.
