Caffeine: When you do not drink tea you are withdrawing from caffeine and that can trigger headaches in some individuals.

Caffeine withdrawl: Its usually the opposite! caffeine withdrawl (not taking tea or coffee, after regular use) is more likely to cause these symptoms.

TEAS: contain  varying amounts of CAFFEINE

CAFFEINE IS ADDICTIVE

"Withdrawal leads to headaches which will diminish with time. Suggest an Over the Counter NSAID such as Ibuprofen...(BTW "Tapering works but the DOSAGE of CAFFEINE in the brew is too "random" to know how to taper properly!)

Corn Sugar Pain: Soft drinks (not tea) is comprised of corn surgar (the replaced the natural surgar many years ago).  The body does not digest this corn sugar and it can cause a multiple of bodily dysfunctions.  I know of a friend that was told he had 3 months to live due to his medical problems.  He totally got off of soft drinks and his body regained normal health over months. That was 7 years ago and he lives.

Not likely: The missed pill likely is not yhr cause but a flare of allergy symptoms because of missing the pill can.

Withdrawal symptom: When you miss your zoloft (sertraline) dose, you could be experiencing some withdrawal (or what the drug companies call "discontinuation") effects -- which can include headache.  I'm glad you rarely skip your doses for 2+ days.

Affected yes: Same thing happened to me years ago & really demonstrates the affect of prolonged caffeine use on the blood vessels in your brain & possibly elsewhere. If you are aware now & decide to decrease your daily intake to a healthier level i wouldn't call it an addiction. If not it's more a habituation, a habit you can't break.

Do a pregnancy test: The pill works primarily by preventing release of eggs.No egg=no chance of pregnancy. If you skip pills &amp; the hormone level provided by the pill drops, an egg may be released= chance of pregnancy. If your symptoms are pregnancy related a urine pregnancy test should be positive. If negative it may be too soon or caused by something else.

Migraine treatment: There are many good medications for migraine treatment. Migraine is a serious and complex neurologic disorder. Today effective management of migraine involves three specific strategies: 1) patient education 2) non-pharmacological management (diet, sleep hygiene, acupuncture) and 3) pharmacological (triptans, topamax, (topiramate) etc) management.
