i have a 7.3 cm complex ovarian mass on my right ovary. it has been causing me pain for a monthwith diarrhea and vomiting. i was tested for ovarian cancer with the ca-125, and my result was 16.5. does this mean im absolutely cleared of having cancer?

No,: but the blood test is somewhat reassuring.  Removal of cyst may be best way to be sure.

Possible: If you are vomiting due to ovarian cancer, you are likely to have other symptoms such as bloating, abdominal pain, abdominal enlargement, etc.  Vomiting alone without any other symptoms is not likely due to ovarian cancer.

Cancer unlikely: It is unlikely that your symptoms are due to ovarian cancer. Irritable bowel is more likely. It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor for an evaluation.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk prodFor good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex. 
Get HPV vaccine

Vomiting: Vomiting can be a sing of advanced ovarian cancer, but if you have no history of cancer, i'd start with a visit to your doctor to rule out some more common possibilities first.

Ovarian cancer: It sounds as if she needs IV fluids first. Then it needs to be known by she has diarrhea. Is it because of an infection (c. Diff) or a side effect o treatment (chemo causing diarrhea). Hydration is key to make sure she doesn't get sicker. The antibiotics and the anti-diarrheals are best when given orally. If she is having a lot of diarrhea, she should see her doctor or go to the er.

I dont know: Given that you have a strong family history, I would discuss this with a gynecologist and get an exam.  They may also choose to do ultrasound exams or ct scans depending on their clinical judgement.

Possible, but: Bloating, alternating diarrhea and constipation, pelvic pressure could go along with ovarian cancer, but truly it is more likely to be due to an intestinal issue.  Irritable bowel syndrome, diverticulitis, problems digesting some food, pelvic infection are all possible.  I recommend you get seen and examined.  An ultrasound will let you know if there is an ovarian problem.

No good screen test: No good screening for ovarian cancer. It requires high awareness from the patient, low threshold of suspicion of md, multiple modalities to detect earlier case of cancer. Symptoms are not specific either that may include non specific lower abdominal pain, abdominal distention, nausea/vomiting, constipation, weight loss etc. However, when you do have symptoms usually the stage would be more advance.

Not specific: Early ovarian cancer may cause abdominal discomfort, constipation or diarrhea, bloating, gas, indigestion, fatigue, or back pain. These symptoms are common with other medical problems, which is why ovarian cancer is often not diagnosed at an early stage.
