Two FDA vaccines protect against 16 and 18 and when administered before infection, can reduce the risk of cancer

HPV: We don't do c sections for non genital hpv and even with the genital hpv, we only do it if the warts appear to be severe and or obstructive to the birth canal.  I have not seen any issues in babies born to mothers of non wart hpv.  In the us we think as many as 35% of women by age 25 have this form of hpv.

HPV: There are over 140 strains of hpv.  Four of them cause 95% of the cancers and nine others can cause the remaining 5%.  Thus most of the strains do not lead to cancer. There is a vaccine to protect you from the four strains that cause cancer, gardisil. 

And your gynecologist now during the pap smear can send for testing the new dna hybrid test to see if you have any of the dangerous strains

HPV causes warts: Hpv causes warts on the hands.  It is not related to your risk of cervical cancer.  Different strains of the virus cause cervical carcinoma (types 16, 18, 31, and 33.  Consider asking your doctor about pap smear and hpv testing if you are concerned about cervical cancer.

Different strain: Wart  strains are associated with warts, cancer strains with cancer. You can pick up a cancer strain if exposed, or get the vaccine to protect yourself from it. It won't treat the strain you have but could help prevent you from picking up another. Condoms help some but are not fully protective for hpv.

Viral proteins: E6 and E7 are proteins made by HPV. There are over 100 strains of HPV, some cause warts, some specifically cause genital warts, a few are causative agent of carcinomas of cervix, anus, vulva, vagina and oropharynx.
