i hv menstrual pain&bloating. next day,turns 2 stomach pain&diarrhea. take mylanta for 4days now, relief d stomach but not d bowel pain. cause&advise?

Not sure of: WHY this happens but its QUITE COMMON,,What do you "take" for your bloating/pain??? Sometimes that's the reason.....

started beta blocker to block migraine stomach issues ever since take protonix. tried taking it on a full stomach. i either gotten acidic stomach or feel bloated. i take mylanta with some relief. i also have some diarrhea. can i just stop taking them?

Consider new med.: Stopping the beta blocker can possible cause rebound headaches and hypertension.  Why don't you first try a different stomach medication?  Pepcid or Zantac?  If you are still having bloating you should also be evaluated for gastritis or H. Pylori which is an infection that can also cause similar GI symptoms.

help! severe pain, upper right, under rib cage. vomiting, diarrhea. lasting more than 3 hours now. tried pepto and mylanta. no relief.

?Gall stones: Typical gall bladder symptoms include excess belching, lower chest discomfort, pain in the right upper abdomen radiating around to the right side of the back usually after fatty foods. Vomiting and occasionally diarrhea  may also be present.The right upper abdomen may also be tender to touch. You should be  examined by your physician in view of the persistent pain.

Anti Acid : Mutants has Aluminum Hydroxide andMagnesium Hydroxide . It is probably the Magnesium Hydroxide that caused the Diarrhea .

Liquid diet: It can, but it really depends on what you are drinking. Normally, just drinking liquids doesn't give you diarrhea. If the liquids contain a high amount of sugar, fats, or dairy (among other things), it is possible that your GI tract may not handle that well and the result can be diarrhea.

Not likely: Herniated disc can cause spinal stenosis which can cause loss of bowel control resulting in fecal incontinence but not neccesarily diarrhea.

Bowel obstruction: "feculent" vomiting or belching can be a late sign of bowel obstruction.  However, most people well enough to be asking questions on the web don't have this problem.

Diabetic diarrhea is due to autonomic neuropathy leading to abnormal motility and secretion of fluid in the colon.
