Can a herniated disc cause diarrhea?

Not likely: Herniated disc can cause spinal stenosis which can cause loss of bowel control resulting in fecal incontinence but not neccesarily diarrhea.

No this would not be: A symptom consistent with a disc herniation. Only in 1% of cases can a disc herniation affect bowel and bladder control but diarrhea wold not be a presentation of that type of diagnosis which is known as cauda equina syndrome?
