Fibromyalagia: This is fibromyalgia and not directly related  to Lyme. Your physician needs to direct you to a fibromyalgia program which includes:
1. Exercise - the pain is in the muscles
2. Sleep evaluation and treatment
3. Stress evaluation and treatment

taking doxycycline (200mg twice a day) for lyme. i am on day 5 out of 28. noticing new symptoms, specifically in my shoulder and knees. is this normal?

If you were: ...diagnosed with Lyme arthritis, you may continue to have symptoms for a while.  That's one reason you were put on a long duration of therapy.  Doxycycline itself can can joint pain.  Also, as the organism (a spirochete) is eradicated by the antibiotic , a mild autoimmune reaction that occurs may also cause joint main.  Continue therapy and follow up with your doctor.

i have heart palps, joint pain & tired all the time. years ago i had a bulls eye type rash on my shoulder.  is it possible i have lyme disease?

Get tested: Simple blood test for a potentially serious and treatable disease. You can prevent damage but cannot fix damage done.

to start had norm stress test, ecg norm except late trans, cta chest norm and holter norm but getting left side chest pain under breast and into shoulder. bp fine. pos lyme test. serious? muscular?

Lab tests: Your cardiac labs are fine. The positive lyme titer is of some concern. The symptom is nonspecific and not a high probability for being heart caused. Should discuss with your doctor about musculoskeletal and also the signficance if any of the positive lyme titer.

Many causes possible: Ultimately a formal history and exam by an orthopedic surgeon is probably the best option for correct diagnosis. Many things can cause severe shoulder pain such as rotator cuff tears, bursitis/tendinitis, labral tears, shoulder instability, frozen shoulder, fractures, arthritis, contusions/direct trauma, cervical spine and nerve impingement in the shoulder as well.

Yes, see osteopath: It's very possible that it could be from your low back bulging discs, if it's restraining motion up to your shoulders. However, you need to have this further evaluated by an osteopathic physician, who can review your films, your complete medical, trauma, social history to see how much your bulging discs are affecting this. Often times, this can easily be treated with osteopathic manipulation.

Popping: As for the popping that is generally just a normal variant.  The question on the pain is, is the MRI of the neck or shoulder.   IF the shoulder was it done with contrast or without?  There are some things like labral tears (if you play sports) that could cause pain.  Also, how long have you had the pain.  Sometimes there is an injury that is minor and can't be seen but is painful. Give it 6-8 week

Rotator cuff: If recent onset, a rotator cuff injury is a possibly. If a longstanding problem, arthritis is a common cause of decreased shoulder motion. Have it checked out by an orthopedic surgeon.

Chest pain: Chest pain, especially chest pain described as 'severe' should be evaluated in person by a professional in an emergent setting no matter what happened beforehand,...please get this worked up at an ER as soon as possible
