can a kidney infection cause you to have breast pains?

Would not expect it: Kidneys are located towards the back at the level of the lowest ribs. Usually people with pyelonephrirtis (infection in the kidney) or kidney stones experience pain in this area. I would not expect breast pains. I would recommend getting a sonogram of the breast if the pain does not go away to make sure it is not a cyst. If any redness, mass,  or hardness over the breast see the doctor right away.

i have pain in my left side of my back. i havnt got a kidney infection as been tested but i have big breast could that be the cause of the pain?

Yes: Unilateral pain upper back in twenties female with large breasts might reflect chronic rhomboid major muscle spasm.  Each breast can weigh 6 pounds. I have found many large breasted women have anterior tilt to their shoulders, which can stress the rhomboids. Increased tone (yoga) of upper back muscles is advised; along with more of a military posture of the shoulders.

Not really : Not that i know of.  However, chest burning is not only due to a disease in the chest.  For example, reflux of gastric contents, can cause these symptoms.  Also if you were treated with antibiotics, some may cause other symptoms.  Speak with your local physician about these symptoms.

See a doctor: You need a full detailed evaluation including history, physical exam and perhaps some testing that will include imaging studies (x-ray, ct, etc.).

i've had a sore back for about a week or so and been feeling nauseous for the same amount of time it burns a little bit when i urinate. i'm not sure if it could be kidney infection?

Kidney infection: Bladder infections are usually quite painful and leave a sense of urgency even after emptying the bladder.   Kidney infections can be related to back pain but usually have fever and the patient is quite ill.

dr says uti/ kidney infection. very sore, cold/hot flashes.  put on cipro, (ciprofloxacin) not helping.    possible stone.  im not even 50?

UTI ;poss. menopause: Menopause is common at age 49. Kidney ultrasound useful ; simple to diagnose kidney stones, although not as reliable as ct scan. Urine culture with sensitivities would indicate whether bacteria causing your infection are sensitive to Cipro (ciprofloxacin) or whether a different antibiotic is necessary. Good luck.

Could be coincidence: It could be coincidence, but sore throat is a potential side effect of Septra (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim).  If the symptoms continue, or certainly worsen, it would be advisable to f/u with your physician.

Not necessarily: When we are at quiet times and our minds are not preoccupied with a lot of things, we can feel the pain of something more, and that is well-known. That may be the cause. Got to your doctor and have it treated and if only the pain, have it controlled. It may not just be UTI but other things, even a stone.
