? your stomach: Because of iron or diet, you can try first to protect your stomach by using OTC omeprazole or any PPI for a short duration, take your iron after meals, if that doesn't he5, see your doctor

May not: be related. Iron deficiency is common in menstruating women. Bloating may come from food allergies, eating certain gas causing  food , chronic constipation and GI bacterial overgrowth

Not usually: but certain conditions like celiac disease (gluten allergy) can cause both iron deficiency and bloating. best to have your parent discuss this with your pediatrician.

Questions for you: Anemia usually doesnt cause fainting unless really severe. How low is the hemoglobin. What kind of anemia? If iron deficiency, it should be correcting with iron supplements. Are your periods so heavy? Is there anything else causing dehydration?

i've been getting black specks in my stool and having chest pains, indigestive, and malabsorption problems like gas, bloating, and not absorbing enough nutrients. my stool sometimes is dark and sticky. i also take iron. what this could be?

Many: Iron only help if you are iron deficient, but anemia can be due to many reasons, you need to see your doctor for a full work up. Also note it takes more rhan a week to start improving if you just started iron., and your problem is iron def, also depends on if you are taking the right dose, normal absorbtion etc, also it is very important to find out why you are low in iron if that the real proble.

Not likely: Unlikely that iron is the cause of irregularity of periods.  More likely stress, heavy exercise, dieting for weight loss, etc.  If no other symptoms, keep menstrual calendar for the next three months(so you can talk about specifics), if still not "normal for you" discuss with your health care provider.

hi i have "love bite" looking rash on my belly in 2 places there is no reason as to why they would be there i am animic however i do take iron tablets?

Rash: Bruise, petechia or echymosis.  Still most likely a bruise, however you may want to ask your doctor about your platelets if you are anemic.

: Would NOT start taking iron tablets on own before seeing your kidney dr.  Doing so could could impair the correct diagnosis. Deficiency can be from low intake of iron or it's required co-nutrients (folate, B-12, etc), from medical conditions/diseases, from increased loss of iron (microscopic blood loss from stomach or colon), or reduced EPO from kidneys.

my blood test showed anemia but after 6mths daily iron tablets no change. i regularly eat red meat, green veg etc & on the pill. what could cause this?

Need more info: What was your hemoglobin at the beginning and end of six months? How much iron did you take? Could it be that you are losing blood in the stomach or intestine? Could it be that your anemia is not due to iron deficiency? Could you have thalassemia trait that looks like iron deficiency? It would be prudent to discuss all of this with your doctor.
