Sure: There's no right way to take vitamins. Remember that existing strands of hair have no blood supply, so vitamins will not reach them. Vitamins might help with new hair growth, but vitamins have never been shown to help anything in people who are able to eat food, because food contains all the vitamins that are needed. Extra vitamins don't help.

Not unusual: There are several reasons why taking a multivitamin causes nausea. Vitamins C, E and iron all tend to cause more irritation to your stomach. Be sure not to over dose on these (RDA is 75 mg vitamin C, 15 mg vitamin E, 18 mg iron).  Fat solubles can accumulate; stick to RDA of vitamins A-700 mcg, D-600 IU, E-15 mg, K-90 mcg. Coatings slow absorption causing irritation. Try a gummie or chewable.

Why taking.?: Instead of pills, eat nuts like brazil nuts to get these minerals and whole foods for the vitamin e.. No benefit in supplementing with these pills and studies show possible associated harms noted for excesses.

No bad reports: This doesn't mean it's impossible to not go well but if you take a recommended dose of a high quality brand it's probably fine. Best is to discuss it w/ your Dr.  If the Prozac (fluoxetine) upsets your stomach, try a bit of food or milk with it.

Deficient ones: If you eat a well-balanced diet, you may not need many. It appears that many are vitamin d deficient. This as well as B12 and folate can be measured via blood tests. "overdoing" it on them can cause not only side effects but may prompt illness or worsening of ongoing medical problems.

Vitamins: Vitamines are supplements the only purpose of taking them is to suppliment what you mau not get in the fppd you eat, or you are not able to absorp due to some medical condition or you have documented deficiency nof one or more.If you take mega doses of vitamins or tale it too often then you can have upset stomach like nausea and in case or vitamin c, it can cause diarrhea, and cramps in abdomen.
