Totally safe: Ashwagandha and Vitex are both wonderful herbs with many proven benefits. While it is wise to be cautious about interactions between pharmaceuticals, which are very common, interactions between herbs are relatively uncommon. Very often herbalists combine many herbs together for synergistic benefits.

im starting a new job and i would like to reduce my anxiety. im currently taking 25mg of vistral as needed. i dont take it every day. i saw recently that ashwagandha can help reduce anxiety. can i take them together? would there be side effects?

: needs precise diagnosis from psychiatrist or psychologist and take a med that treats the root cause of anxiety and not the symptomatic treatment with that pill you are taking. The pill make you feel "safe" artificially while the illness is never treated and will worsen gradually. Never try to pacify anxiety by alcohol

Check with doctor: Your doctor prescribed your synthroid (thyroxine) dose based on his or her assessment of your need. Taking anything else that may or may not affect your thyroid hormones without advising your treating doctor would not be wise.

Do not do this: The various powders will send a high protein (solute) load to the kidneys, making them work much harder, and you do not want this if you are hypertensive or diabetic or have reduced renal function. Second, you will not receive any health benefits from collagen powder, msm powder, and probably not from ashwagenda. The body does just fine without these mixtures

It varies: Ashwagandha has a wide range of proven benefits. I recommend it to almost all my patients. It gives energy but is also calming. It often improves sleep, even if taken in the morning.
I find most people benefit more from taking it in the morning, but some do better taking it at bedtime and some take it AM and PM. Experiment to see how you feel taking it AM vs. PM.

No: his height is determined by his genetic predisposition.  This associated with his overall health, lack of injury to his growth centers and good overall nutrition.  If he were to have a growth hormone deficiency his ultimate height could be affected by replacement of growth hormone.
