I've asked a lot: of MD's this question.  Some start you off on the new med right after stopping the old one.   Some wait as much as two weeks.   You are mixing an herb with a Tricyclic, so I'd play it safe and wait awhile.   As a psychiatrist who knows about herbs.  Most don't.

Depends: Ramipril is used for blood pressure control, to improve heart function after a heart attack, and to preserve renal function.  Each of these indications has alternatives.  Discuss with your doctor.
Note the most common side effect of ramipril, an ace inhibitor, is cough.  Other acei will also cause cough.

Ramipril overdose.: Symptoms associated with overdosage of ramipril may include excessive peripheral vasodilatation (with marked hypotension, shock), bradycardia, electrolyte disturbances, and renal failure. You should go to an ER, if it you and seek medical attention and receive whatever treatment is necessary. Good luck.

Yes, possibly: Ramipril is an ace inhibitor for hypertension.  Aconite is a homeopathic remedy.  The 2 are completely different levels of intervention and would not interact with each other.  Whether aconite is correct for you i cannot say without knowing much more about your case.  Aconite often helps in states of acute shock and fear -- but over 750 other remedies do also. Discerning is the homeopath's task.

Accepted Answer

Yes, but be cautious: Diurex is caffeine and magnesium salicylate. As such it will have the stimulating properties of caffeine including nervousness, tachycardia, insomnia and jitteriness. Salicylate may cause ringing in the ears and GI irritation. Amitriptyline is an antidepressant which can cause sedation, constipation,  urinary retention and changes in heart rhythm. There are no reported drug interactions.

Accepted Answer

No: Ramipril is a medication for blood pressure.   It is a drug from a class of medications called ace inhibitors.  These medications have been linked to birth defects.  If you are on an ace inhibitor, you  should not get pregnant.  See your doctor if you are considering pregnancy and need the medication.  They can switch you to a safer medication.

If prescribed, yes: This is a low-dose antidepressant medication which also has anti-pain properties.  It may  be given for other reasons as well -- such as to help with sleep.  If your physician has prescribed it after reviewing your health history, yes it is safe.

Yes, it is: Rhodiola has been used safely with all antidepressant types except MAO inhibitors.  Some studies have shown in vitro inhibition of cyp 3a4 and p-glycoprotein with rhodola http://tinyurl.Com/kkh3lhq but this hasn't caused difficulty when used by live patients. [van diermend, et al. J ethnopharmacology.2009 mar 18;122(2):397-401; a.]  amitriptylene and rhodiola can be safely used together.
