Check with your doc: It is important not to mix medications without,checking first about any interactions.  Also, what sort of diet pills do you want to take?  Most OTC diet pills are expensive and ultimately ineffective.  Think about,whether they are worth any risks they may carry relative to treating your depression/anxiety.

hi, i took 1 pill of l-tryptophan (500mg) on 7/5 to reduce my anxiety and it actually made it worse. i was reading online that i shouldn't mix l-tryptophan with any ssri's. i havent started my celexa yet. how soon can i take my celexa?

Choose &amp; take daily: Taking 1 pill of any medication for anxiety will not result in significant changes in mood. L-tryptophan and 5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP) are needed by the brain to manufacture serotonin. Taking supplements of these requires up to 1 month for the effects to be obvious. The same for Celexa. Don't expect the effects to be obvious after 1 pill. Take the pills (choose one) consistently to see effects.

Yes: It all depends on which sleeping pill, but in general all over-the-counter sleep aids, as well as the commonly used prescription varieties, can be taken while on Celexa (citalopram).

Long Time: Depo can take a long time to get out of your body and until it does bleeding can be sporadic and abnormal. Most women need about 9 months for it to be out but its effects can last up to 2 years. Some basic lab tests and ultrasounds can let you know what your body is actually doing. Then you might be able to figure out what pills might help you
