colonoscopy, endoscopy, ct scan, pelvic ultrasound, fsh, ca125,estrogen all normal. i have severe pelvic,low back, rectal pain. dr says ibs-c. agreed?

All the bad stuff: is rather ruled out completely. Ovarian cancer would be totally ruled out (and would be classic for these symptoms) You are, too young for it, too.

strongly suggest IBS.

9 pm: You can certainly change the time you take your pill but try and keep it to the same time each day.

Yes: Yes no problem right before or after colonoscopy. I don't know why you would take they at that time.

Not necessarily...: In a healthy person without any electrolyte abnormalities prior to the colonoscopy preparation, which is usually only the day prior to the procedure, drinking adequate water should be enough to prevent dehydration and adding electrolytes is usually unnecessary... again assuming the pre-procedure electrolytes are normal.

colonoscopy scheduled next week.  i already go 4 or 5 times a day and barely eat.  should i take the entire prep?  i'm afraid of dehydration.

Hydration: This is something I would discuss with the doctor doing your scope but generally to avoid dehydration I would focus on drinking a lot of water prior to the procedure. A good prep is what helps a better view of your colon and a more accurate diagnoses.

: I don't recommend it because of presence of reddish discoloration in the syrup.

: If you take it 24 hours prior, it should not be an issue if you metabolize the codeine normally. If you take it within 24 hours of the procedure, let the doctor know about it since it may still be in your system and it may affect the medicines given for the procedure. Maybe: Yopu should follow the directions provided to you by your endoscopist and follow them exactly as instructed!

is it safe to take a walk to a church 2 blocks away at night when youve had a colonoscopy that day? will i pass out or fall if i do that?just wondered

Not recommended: Generally patients are told to refrain from driving and preferably avoid leaving house on the day of procedure, without company.
This is due to the lingering effect of drugs given during the procedure.
