It won't help: Although it has long been believed that cranberry juice or extracts might help prevent or even treat UTIs, recent research has confirmed it has no effect. It probably would be safe to continue Azo cranberry, but it won't help prevent UTI so not point in taking it. Discuss with your obstetrician. Best wishes for a successful pregnancy and healthy baby.

Safe for baby but...: Cranberry has always been controversial, but from recent research we know for sure it does not prevent or treat UTI. The "azo" component is phenazypyridine, a bladder anesthetic:  it somewhat numbs the inside of the bladder and helps reduce symptoms, but doesn't cure UTI. You need to have a proper antibiotic by prescription. In any case, it won't harm your baby.

Supplements: I see no reason to take either one but I would read the label and ask whoever recommended you take them. You must not realize that manufacturers can add anything they want to this stuff and do. Beware.

Yes but: They are safe for use but not effective. If you have a bladder infection the you need to be treated with antibiotics to prevent the infection from spreading to the kidneys.

Menopause: probably 50% of women carry bacteria in their urine without pathology. Test strips are inaccurate. Check your urine when asymptomatic to see if you test positive. Sometimes a small amount of estrogen creme around the urethra will "plump up" the surrounding tissues and close the urethra. menopause atrophies vaginal tissue, and the urethra can become less protected. Post coital UTI's are common
