Common responses to dose reduction or cessation include dizziness, electric shock-like sensations, sweating, nausea, insomnia, tremor, confusion, nightmares, and vertigo. Please speak with your doctor before you change the dose of zoloft (sertraline).  Be wel.

Withdrawal symptoms!: Yes, you should not stop cold turkey. Those symptoms that you are experiencing are withdrawal symptoms of the medication. I would recommend to get re-started on it (after consulting your prescriber) until the symptoms disappear then taper off slowly.

There has been concern about zoloft's adverse effects on the brain when taken by people who weren't depressed. Some depressed people don't respond to treatment with zoloft. Could you be depressed at this time?  Have an evaluation by a psychiatrist. A neuropharmacologist can advise you about brain effects
