It sounds like you are taking a sedating antihistamine.  As always, diagnosis precedes treatment.  See an ENT doctor for a proper diagnosis and treatment.  In the meantime try saline (warm salt water)  irrigations.

Sinusitis or polyp: One sided nasal congestion for longer than 3 months can indicate that there is a physical obstruction such as a polyp or a chronic inflammation such as sinusitis. it would be worthwhile to have a Dr examine your nasal passages. A GP can initiate this with a nasal speculum in their office and an ENT Dr can look further with a nasal endoscope. Treatment will depend on what they find.
