Only with PID: Tube damage and infertility can sometimes occur as a result of pid, (pelvic inflammatory disease)' a more severe form of gonorrhea and chlamydia that involves the fallopian tubes.  You won't become infertile from simple chlamydia invoving the cervix.

Many do: With scar tissue you may be at higher risk of an ectopic (tube) pregnancy or other complications. If your tubes are shot, you could have eggs harvested, fertilized outside the womb & inserted in your prepared womb with the assistance of a fertility center. Pricey but still a way to get it done.

Possible: The germ can travel up into your fallopian tubes and cause  inflammation ; scaring that might prevent a natural pregnancy or place you at risk of a tubal pregnancy in the future. Early recognition and treatment with antibiotics may limit the damage.Your obgyn can explain the limitations of tests available to study the effect on your system.

my question is i was diagnosed with chlamydia in 2008 i had it for seven months the was treated and to this day i still get a burning sensation when i urinate i am trying to have children and i am afraid the chlamydia may have affected my fertility  ?

Time for a visit: You should not be burning with urination and certainly not from an old case of chlamydia that was properly treated. That issue should be worked out first. If you have been trying to get pregnant for more than a year you need to ask your OB about a fertility workup. Both you &amp; spouse need to have tests done. If your tubes were affected they can educate you in options for pregnancy that bypass them

if i have chlamydia.wipemasturbatechange a tampon.dont wash hands and immediately change a diaper??? wipe them ??or apply diaper rash cream???? can i spread it i just got diagnosed..have children and am having anxiety ?

: Chlamydia and other STIs are never transmitted by nonsexual contact; only your sex partner(s) are at risk. Household members and the children of infected people never get it (assuming no sexual abuse). Chlamydia is pretty uncommon beyond age 30: were you diagnosed with a positive lab test? If so, it will clear up promptly with doxycycline, the preferred treatment. Good luck.
